About Us

Solicitude for Orphans Children Support Group{SFOCSG} is a non-profit, non-party in politics, established in 2002 and registered in Kenya under The Ministry of Gender, Sports, Culture & Social Services on 20th July, 2004 as a Community Based Organization{CBO} located in the Soweto slums in Kayole-Nairobi, Kenya


To raise the development potential of the poor to enable them lead an adequate and self-sustainable life in the community.

SFOCSG also fosters partnership and collaboration between and amongst its communities through its various activities.

With its focus on community development, the CBO  has a defined target groups: Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Women, People Living With HIV/AIDS, n and Youth.


A society that raises the standards of living of children, women and youth through education, business and economic empowerment, development, protection, health and participation.


To improve the lives of children, women and youth in local communities through education, economic empowerment and social amenities in collaboration with other affinity groups that raises their standard of living.
